Good Used. Leaving behind their beautiful haven on the Isle of Wight, Nurse Emma Dewar and her new husband Dr Paul Sykes move to busy post-war London to set up a psychotic consultancy. Whilst Emma throws herself enthusiastically into helping Paul with his clinic, Emma"s old friend Bea and her baby twins come to stay, for they are en route to her American husband"s family in Texas. Unbeknown to Emma, her cousing George is crossing the Atlantic in the other direction. He returns to England with an American wife, Sadie, and for Emma ( who knows George is in love with her ) it is a trying time. But difficulties lie ahead as Sadie is already pregnant, and not at all happy at being tied down to a family so soon.
